Membership Application

Those individuals who are not directly involved with the daily operations/management of a medical practice, but who provide products and/or services which promote the ideals and concepts of medical practice.

The Vendor Partner does not have the right to vote and cannot be an officer of the Association. A vendor affiliate does not have the right to solicit or sell products through the online forum, but does have the right to participate in communications regarding the topic being discussed. The Vendor Partner can attend monthly AKMGMA meetings and can attend the annual AKMGMA meeting upon application and payment of additional financial sponsorship.

Individuals who work for an organization of provider(s) engaged in the practice of medicine & meets at least one of the following criteria:

• An Administrator/Office Manager of the organization.
• A Manager/Supervisor of a department of the organization.
• A provider engaged in the practice of medicine.
• A manager/supervisor of a healthcare organization that is not an organization of medical providers.
• A professional medical manager who is temporarily between management positions (may remain an Active member for 12 months)
• A faculty member of a university or college.

An Active member is entitled to all Association membership services, including the right to vote on all matters, attend monthly meetings, attend the annual AKMGMA meeting upon application and payment, and to serve as an officer of the Association.

An individual who does not meet the requirements of Active or Vendor Partner membership but who meets the following criteria:

• A staff member of an active member
• A student of a university or college

A Student member is entitled to all Association membership services, cannot vote, and cannot be an officer of the Association. An Student member can attend the monthly AKMGMA meetings and can attend the annual AKMGMA meeting upon application and payment.
