January 1/2 Day Education Session (In Person)

Description

Join AKMGMA for a half-day in-person education session focused on practical topics that arise in our work every day. We’ll spend the morning learning together and sharing perspectives with peers from across Alaska’s medical community.

Sessions will include:

  • E/M Downcoding — what’s happening, what it means for practices, and how to respond, with Kori Slater
  • Internal Controls — a straightforward look at why they matter and how to strengthen them, with Crystal Miner
  • Undoing Neck and Shoulder Pain from Desk Work — a live demonstration and presentation from ASCENT focused on movement, stretching, and self-care for office-based teams

This session is designed to be informative, approachable, and immediately useful, with time to ask questions and connect in person.
